The Google Sheets integration feature is designed to automatically export statistical data from the MVP to Google Sheets. This allows you to conveniently analyze the effectiveness of advertising campaigns, track key metrics, generate reports, and quickly identify the most effective customer acquisition channels.

Once connected, data is automatically updated every 5 minutes during the current week, ensuring up-to-date reporting and transparent analytics.

When you first download, the system generates a full report for the entire available period and saves it on a separate All Data sheet. All subsequent updates are created automatically, broken down by day or week (depending on the selected period), and saved on separate spreadsheets.

🧭 Instructions for setting up data export to Google Sheets:

1. Create an account here (if you don't have one yet).

2. Copy the service email address, which will look like this: aaa-xxx@constant-height.iam.gserviceaccount.com

3. Create a new Google Sheet and save the part of the URL highlighted after /d/ and before the next / - this is your Sheet ID.
Example:

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/23Mdsa3zqRasdas800k5bx68/edit?gid=0#gid=0

In this example, 23Mdsa3zqRasdas800k5bx68 is the required part.

4. Add service mail to the document as an editor.

5. Connect the API - Go to the Google Cloud console and add the " Google Sheets API " service to your project.

6. Rename the sheet in your table to download (required - this is required for the download to work correctly).

7. Generate an access key:

  • On the service settings page, create a new key in JSON format.
  • Once created, the browser will automatically download the file.
  • If the download does not start, make sure pop-ups are allowed in your browser settings.

8. Go to the Google Sheets section in MVP and fill in the required fields⬇️⬇️⬇️

Basic table settings:

  • Name - the internal name of the table. Displayed only in the list of tables within the MVP.
  • Spreadsheet ID - Google Spreadsheet ID obtained in step 3.
  • Google Key - The access key JSON file created in step 7.
  • Spot - filtering data by traffic sources.
  • Table Columns - Select the metrics you want to export to the report. The names correspond to the columns in the "Statistics" section.
  • Active - enable or disable automatic data upload.

Additional table settings:

  • Period - Determines the frequency of report generation: daily or weekly. The system automatically creates a separate sheet in the table for each period.
  • Grouping - allows you to analyze advertising results by various parameters and identify patterns in the data. By default, grouping is by date. You can select other criteria if needed.
  • Tags - generate a report based on selected tags.
  • FB Campaign - filtering by Facebook advertising campaigns.
  • Adset name - details by ad groups.
  • Placement location - analysis by placement platforms (feed, stories, etc.).
  • Landing - evaluation of landing page effectiveness.
  • Spot type - segmentation by advertising formats.
  • Campaign name - statistics for individual advertising campaigns.
  • FB Announcement - Analysis of Individual Advertising Creatives.
  • Source name - separation of organic and paid traffic.
  • Country - data analysis by region.
  • Adset FB - filtering by ad groups.
  • Ad Title - statistics for specific ads.
  • Advertising channel - choosing an advertising platform.
  • Bayer - analysis of the effectiveness of specialists launching advertising.

Filtering helps you focus on the data you need while eliminating unnecessary information. After selecting the required parameters, click "Save."

  • Name - the name of the advertising campaign or spot.
  • Clicks - the number of clicks on the tracking link on the landing page.
  • Subscribers (sub) - the total number of dirty subscribers, excluding unsubscribes.

  • Unsubscribes (unsub_s) - the number of users who unsubscribed.
  • Sales sum (dep_summary) is the total amount of deposits.
  • Repeat sales amount (redep_summary) - the total amount of all repeat deposits.
  • Number of registrations (reg_count) - total number of registrations.
  • Number of sales (dep_count) - the total number of deposits.

Actions with tables

  1. Editing - changing the parameters of an existing table.
  2. View - view current settings and export parameters.
  3. Delete - delete the table and stop uploading data.

Conclusion

MVP integration with Google Sheets automates statistics collection and analysis, eliminating the need to generate reports manually. Flexible filtering and grouping options allow you to obtain the exact data you need to evaluate the effectiveness of advertising campaigns and make decisions. After initial setup, the system will automatically update information and keep reports current, saving time and simplifying analytics.
